Progress Reports

Progress reports are due July 15 (for activities January through June) and January 15 (for activities July through December) for the duration of your project. Submitted invoices are not paid until progress reports are received, so timely reporting ensures that funding continues to flow smoothly to your project.

Note: The progress report template was revised and its instructions clarified in November 2008. Any reports that do not follow this new format will be returned for revision. Download Progress Report Template (.doc)

Final Reports

Final reports are due 60 days after the ending date of your project. For more information about submitting your final report and project synopsis, plus final report review criteria, download these guidelines. (.pdf)

Other Project-Related Tasks

Financial reporting

When funds were released for your project, we provided you with a financial report form that was pre-populated for you with the budget information you provided. Complete and submit this form with your quarterly invoices to the Alaska SeaLife Center. Contact the SeaLife Center if you need a new finance report form for your project.

Changing your budget

Reallocation of funds between direct cost categories requires permission only if the cumulative amount of budget reallocations is greater than 10% of the total budget amount. If you need to exceed this 10% threshold, you must request approval from NPRB. Find out how this is done.

Submitting data and metadata

Data and metadata have to be transferred to NPRB in a timely manner after completion of your project. Find out how this is done.
